The Sea Cadet program is backed by the Department of National Defense, being provided with uniforms and facilities. The program trains cadets aged 12-19 ceremonial drill with arms, flags, mace, and cutlass. Sea Cadets also learn different trades such as sail, seamanship, drill, fitness, air rifle marksmanship, and music.
